Castlevania: Lords Of Shadow 2 Alucard DLC Unconvered?

User @ http://cs.rin.ru/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=64113&start=210

Discovered hidden in the game’s files for the upcoming ” Revelations ” dlc for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2. Let’s you play as Alucard, which anybody that played Castlevania: Symphony Of The Night or knows Dracula lore knows it’s his son; You get to ” Uncover new plotlines and discover the true extent of Alucard’s involvement “.

Via UbiSerge:

Play as Alucard in this extensive add on for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2. The immersive story is expanded further as new branches of the plot are uncovered, along with rich new environments and challenging puzzles. Fight creatures of darkness and discover the true extent of Alucard’s involvement in Dracula’s story, his deal with death and his fight against Satan. Experience a whole new aspect of the thrilling conclusion to the ‘Lords of Shadow’ saga, including some enlightening revelations!

Personally I didn’t get to even play Lords of Shadow 2 yet but I played the first and thought it was a nice addition/revision of Castlevania especially past 3D iterations which were not as great as the traditional 2D side scrollers.

A New Game You Should Kickstart: Unwritten Echoes of Twilight

I came across a project on Kickstarter called Unwritten: Echoes of Twilight by Druid Gameworks.

It’s a open world single player RPG similar to The Elder Scrolls. In which you choose which race to play as and can do or be what you want to be/do.

Here’s the overview via it’s Kickstarter page:

Unwritten: Echoes of Twilight is a single player, open world, role playing adventure game that combines the visual appeal of modern graphics and animation technologies with the classic role-playing elements hardcore RPG gamers love. In modern games, immersion, interactivity, and customization are often watered down by major studios, resulting in diluted replay value and degradation of the “role play” nature of the games. As RPG gamers ourselves, Druid Gameworks understands all those fun nerdy things RPG gamers want to see, or do, and we plan to give it to them in spades.

In this precursor and introduction to the Unwritten series, players are introduced to the world of Arthanswold through the heartland isles of Aerendwel and Byre, where the diverse and often unforgiving landscapes range from perilous mountain passes to dark ominous marsh lands, and overgrown jungles. In a player driven adventure, you can explore the world in any direction you want your story to go! Unearth hidden locations, unique characters, and dynamic quests. Chronicle your adventure in your journal, taking real notes whenever something important crosses your path. Customize pets and companions, take ownership of shops, wield powerful ritual magicks, join factions to form friendships, and uncover the shards of an ancient mystery that echoes from the past.

It’s features:

  • Player Driven Gameplay
  • Player Created Journal Option
  • Open World Map with Few Load Screens
  • Unique Explorable Landscapes
  • Six Playable Races with Rich Histories (Unlock More by Hitting Our Stretch Goals!)
  • Unique Alternate Starts
  • Evolving Storylines and Game Map that Respond to Your Choices
  • Crafting, Trading, Economy
  • Character Tailored Questlines
  • Customized Companions and Mounts
  • Dungeon Diving & Rewards
  • Unique Weaponry with Race Bonuses
  • Optional Survival Needs (Eating, Sleeping, etc)
  • Role-playing Immersion Focus
  • Modability!
  • And much, much, more!

The game has makers for such mods as Reclaiming Sancre Tor, Martigen’s Monster Mod, and countless others for TES:IV Oblivion. Also some makers involved in mods like Climates of Tamriel, Unique Uniques, Live Another LIfe, Unofficial for Skyrim and it’s DLCs and a composer for the mod Beyond Skyrim, for TES:V Skyrim. Also some involved in mods for Fallout New Vegas, Fallout 3, Half-Life 1 & 2, Counterstrike, Temple of Elemental Evil, Crysis,  Torchlight II, and Civilization V,

So they have a great background in big open spaced/world games.

It’s coming out for PC, Xbox Live, and Playstation Network.

You can find out more info at their Kickstarter page: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/594743529/unwritten-echoes-of-twilight

Hopefully those reading this can help bring this game to life by funding it and getting the word around about this game.
